    Came here to look for forums to check out dev notes or ideas or where the game is going. Love everything about it so far. Easily one of my favorite games I have played in a long time! I have a huge soft spot for customizable ships, parts with quality, and damage that affects gameplay are so rare but so amazing!

    I wanted to suggest if it’s not already a thing: that components/items can be turned on or off during gameplay. For example if I have four engines, and my leftmost engine gets blown off, I’d like to be able to toggle my rightmost engine to ‘off’ and still be able to control my ship. Alternatively with losing batteries or solar panels, being able to turn things off to manage power better. That kind of stuff. (And of course mapping these toggles to keys would be cool too).

    Engine damaging weapons or emp/energy damaging weapons would be pretty cool too. Looking forward to what you come up with for the game next! It’s amazing! Thanks.

      I was thinking about adding a ship computer module which would update your key bindings when your ship gets damaged. Disabling modules sounds good too – maybe I could make the ship status screen clickable for this so that you can disable modules by clicking on them.
